Mark Cuglietta is a Senior Research Engineer at C-FER Technologies, where he manages and executes research and testing programs related to material and product performance in challenging environments.
He holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 2003, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2013.
His current initiatives include the development and construction of:
- a full-scale test system designed to evaluate products and materials in extreme corrosive or hydrogen-containing environments at full scale, and;
- a comprehensive material test facility for evaluating material coupons in high-pressure hydrogen environments.
Mark’s research background and experience include high temperature fuel cells, atmospheric plasma spraying, engineered coatings for high temperature applications, light hydrocarbon reforming, and sulfide/stress corrosion cracking.
