Sam Brownfield is the Lab Operations Manager at C-FER, bringing more than 20 years of experience in technical operations, quality management, field services, and organizational leadership.

Throughout his career, he has led multi-site operations, managed large multidisciplinary teams, implemented quality management systems, and driven operational excellence across Canada and international markets.

Sam has extensive expertise in process improvement, safety and quality programs, digital transformation initiatives, and customer-focused service delivery.

His practical approach to leadership and commitment to continuous improvement help ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality laboratory operations in support of C-FER’s research and industry partners.

In his spare time Sam enjoys traveling around Alberta, and internationally with his family, and spending time with the family pets.
