Eric Amphlett is the Manager of C-FER Technologies’ Infrastructure and Systems department, a position he has held since 2013.
Before he came to Edmonton and C-FER, Eric started his professional career with Ballard Power Systems leading a team of technologists and engineers in the development of a test lab assisting in the development and integration of the proton-exchange membrane fuel cell.
Eric started in the laboratory at C-FER in 2005 and joined the management team in 2013, where he assumed responsibilities for instrumentation and calibration, equipment maintenance, computer services, facilities, records management, library services and software development.
Eric graduated with a Mechanical Technology (Manufacturing) diploma from BCIT in 1996. He became a member of ASTTBC and received an Applied Science Technologist (AScT) designation in 2000. After moving to Edmonton and transferring to ASET he received his Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation.
His Project Management Professional (PMP) designation was earned in 2008, his Registered Engineering Technologist (RET) designation was earned in 2009, and his Professional Technologist (P.Tech. (Eng)) designation was earned in 2013.
