Brian joined C-FER Technologies fresh out of University in 1990 and started working in the Production Technology department on various projects related to cold heavy oil production operations. Working his way up, in 2005 he became Manager of the Drilling and Completions department, where his team was involved in projects related to well integrity in severe environments.
Since 2009 he has served in various corporate and business development roles with a focus on leak detection, underground storage and integrity management for midstream pipeline systems.
Most recently he has focused on applying C-FER’s analytical and full-scale testing capabilities to projects in clean energy including CCUS, hydrogen, geothermal and small modular nuclear reactors.
Brian holds a MSc in Engineering Geology (1990) from the University of Waterloo, where he also completed his undergraduate degree. He loves playing hockey and one day, hopes to learn to turn left.
