His expertise includes structural analysis, finite element modelling, solid mechanics, and data analytics.

 

Abrar’s experience includes research and design of steels structures including pipelines. He also has experience with pipeline strain demand and capacity modelling using finite element modelling and simplified analytical methods.

 

Abrar has published multiple peer-reviewed papers about steel earthquake lateral-load-resisting frames and has been involved in research projects involving field testing and performance evaluation of inspection tool performance for under ground gas storage wells.
