International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Technical Committee 67 (TC67) Oil and gas industries including lower carbon energy develops international standards for global energy industry, enabling safe and efficient oil&gas, petrochemical and lower carbon energy activities.
Every year, ISO TC67 meets for its Plenary Meeting in a country that wins the bid for the prestigious Plenary hosting – and this year it is Canada!

Event Overview
Canada will host the ISO Technical Committee 67 Plenary Meeting in Edmonton from 2026-10-19 to 2026-10-23. The meeting will bring together global experts involved in the development of ISO standards for oil and gas operations, materials, equipment and emerging lower-carbon energy applications, including carbon capture, hydrogen and thermal energy systems. In addition to formal plenary and working group meetings, the event program will include opportunities to connect with industry, and explore regional energy infrastructure highlighting Canada’s leadership in lower-carbon energy deployment.
