C-FER's Universal Testing System (UTS) is one of the world's most sophisticated loading systems for full-scale structural and reliability testing under harsh conditions.

A computer-controlled, closed-loop, servo-hydraulic loading system applies tensile and compressive loads and can also achieve high rates to simulate impact and a wide range of dynamic and cyclic loading.

This system is situated on a massive strong floor and can be operated inside
C-FER's Extreme Climate Chamber to temperatures as cold as -60° C, eliminating seasonal restrictions on qualifying equipment for cold climate service.
