C-FER's Universal Testing System (UTS) is one of the world's most sophisticated loading systems for full-scale structural and reliability testing under harsh conditions.

A computer-controlled, closed-loop, servo-hydraulic loading system applies tensile and compressive loads and can also achieve high rates to simulate impact and a wide range of dynamic and cyclic loading.

Specifications:

• force capacity up to 22.24 MN (5 M lb) in tension or compression -5 MN (1.13 M lb) in fatigue
• expandable to 25 MN (5.65 M lb) static axial load
• operating temperatures from -60° C (-76° F) to +40° C (104° F) ambient, and +400° C (752° F) with specimen temperature control
