The Biaxial Testing System was specifically designed for conducting biaxial tension tests on large diameter pipe specimens.  

Auxiliary cooling and high pressure circulation systems simulate  structural response in arctic environments. 

Independent control of loading rams allows flexibility in testing.

• Typical specimen length up to  5.5 m (18 ft)*
• Typical specimen diameter up to 1.2 m (4 ft)*
• Specimen temperature to -45°C
• Internal specimen pressure application specific

* System can be reconfigured to accept larger specimens
